Nice to meet you,

I'm Nicole. A designer and front end developer from Dominican Republic, currently based in New York. I'm a life-long artist and lover of experimentation, from contributing work to international projects like The Phaistos Project to constructing typography from unconventional materials I'm drawn to impactful work that pushes past the obvious.

With 7 years of experience, I have worked with a range of clients, budgets, and goals across branding, web, and product design. My work ranges from startups like Sharelov, a social media marketing platform, to established brands like Dr. Harvey's, a holistic pet food company. Across both, the work has covered everything from website redesigns and social media design to expanding and evolving existing web presences.

My approach to design is fun, curious and meticulous. I aim to create useful, engaging and moving design that causes a lasting impression. Some recent work I'm proud of includes the Puerto Rico Open, where I had to learn a new industry from scratch, work within an existing design system and push it somewhere fresher and more modern, all within a tight budget. Another favorite was Island Finance, where the challenge was figuring out how to make something as intimidating as personal finance feel warm, clear, and human.

I love working closely with brands to understand their vision, values and goals in order to deliver outstanding results. When I'm not designing, I might be dancing salsa, coloring, cooking or reading a book.
